Overview
Aaron's Way is a 1988 American family drama series that aired on NBC. The series stars Merlin Olsen as Aaron Miller, the husband and father of an Amish family that moves to California. The series follows the attempts of family members to adapt to California culture while retaining their personal values. Also appearing on the series were Samantha Mathis and Belinda Montgomery.

Although there is a town in California called Sunset Beach, the show's beach scenes were shot on nearby Seal Beach. The show was co-produced by NBC and Spelling Television. Sunset Beach won two Daytime Emmy Awards and was nominated another eleven times. The show also received twenty-two nominations for various other awards.

It follows Dr Paul Hamilton, a Welsh astronomer, who leaves a dull academic post and unloved girlfriend for a new job at the Royal Australian Observatory, deep in the Australian outback. The exterior scenes were shot at Broken Hill in New South Wales, Australia. The observatory itself is a CGI creation, according to the DVD commentary, and only a partial doorway was constructed on site for filming purposes.

Staying in April's seaside mansion seems to like the dream vacation, especially after the girls meet April's hot boyfriend Christian and the dreamy local deputy, Will. the worse quickly though when Zoe starts receiving menacing text messages from her ex...and the locals reveal their ulterior motives. This show aired every Tuesday and Thursday at nbc.com.
