Every fall the REEL ROCK Film Tour brings the year's most exciting new climbing films to live audiences around the world. For 2010, the tour features six amazing short films, with stories from the cutting edge of alpine climbing, bouldering, sport climbing, and traditional climbing.

Chasing Glory is an intimate, dramatic, and revealing seven-part documentary series that follows six athletes as they prepare to compete in the biggest sporting event on the planet. Karsten Warholm, Janja Garnbret, B-Boy Menno, Vahine Fierro, Dina-Asher-Smith, and Peter Sagan. From World Record holders and global superstars to aspiring young medal prospects and cultural icons, each athlete is at a different point in their career and representing an eclectic diaspora of sports as the Games continues to modernise and embrace change. First Ascent is Sender Films' groundbreaking 6-part series that takes you to the cutting edge of adventure. Produced over two years on five continents, First Ascent follows the greatest climbers to majestic locations around the globe on their quests to redefine what is possible in the mountains.

The real-life adventures of a high-altitude helicopter rescue team patrolling Mount Everest are followed in this series, which begins with life and limb being risked to extract two separate injured climbers, both from 21,000 feet. Also: The ARS team provide emergency medical relief to a local boy suffering from a potentially fatal condition.

"The Climbers" is a six-part documentary series tracing the history of mountaineering. Directed by Chris Bonington and Richard Else, it was produced by the BBC and broadcast in 1992. The series recounts the evolution of mountaineering and the traditions of climbers in Great Britain and on the European continent: the former developed a free climbing technique, while the latter used aids such as keys, pitons, and drills to ascend otherwise inaccessible routes. The program includes archive footage of the pioneers of the sport, from the emergence of free climbing as a distinct discipline in the late 1970s and 1980s to the advent of competitions.

For the 70th anniversary of the EB climbing shoe brand, French climber Seb Bouin decided to tour France of the climbing routes that have marked the history of our sport. From 7a to 9a, the Vintage Rock Tour is a project that was born from the desire to rediscover historic climbing sites, the evolution of climbing styles but above all to be able to meet the actors who made the history of our sport.
