


The New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show is the sixth incarnation of the Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoon Scooby-Doo. It premiered on September 10, 1983, and ran for one season on ABC as a half-hour program made up of two eleven-minute short cartoons. The show is a return to the mystery solving format and reintroduces Daphne after a four-year absence. The plots of each episode feature her, Shaggy, Scooby-Doo, and Scrappy-Doo solving supernatural mysteries under the cover of being reporters for a teen magazine.

The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! is a package show produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions in 1980 for ABC Saturday mornings. When Shaggy's rich Uncle Albert goes missing and is presumed dead, Shaggy receives an inheritance, which he uses to upgrade the Mystery Machine so it can transform itself into other types of vehicles. Before disappearing, Uncle Albert made some enemies and it is up to Shaggy and his trusty canine, Scooby-Doo, to defeat those enemies, the most dangerous of whom is evil Dr. Phineas Phibes. Armed with the upgraded Mystery Machine, a loyal robot servant and their new riches, Shaggy and Scooby must stop Dr. Phibes' evil plans and save the world.

Kohiruimaki Yuichi is a police officer who established the "Science Crime Countermeasures Office", a department that specializes in issues related to cutting-edge science and technology. He welcomes the genius scientist Mogami Yukiko as an advisor and she is in charge of investigating cases related to cutting-edge science. The crimes entrusted to the Science Crime Countermeasures Office are crimes that the legal system and police organization cannot keep up with. The two will unravel the science itself hidden behind the cases and not just the so-called forensic investigation. Hasebe Tsutomu is a detective who is not familiar with science but has a long experience in the field in the former Investigation Division.

Lee Ahn has the ability to read a person's secrets as soon as he touches them. He meets a woman who has secrets that she desperately tries to hide. The two team up to bring down criminals.

Scooby-Doo and the Mystery, Inc. gang are launched into the 21st century, with new mysteries to solve.

Each episode of this series, set in contemporary Los Angeles, examines one crime from many different viewpoints - uniformed cops, detectives, witnesses, the media, the fire department and rescue squad, even the criminals themselves.
