Set in Chicago, the show follows the kid-friendly misadventures of two high-school friends who are always scheming and dreaming. Many episodes also had titles based on puns, such as "Puppy Love", "Swine Flew the Coop", "Knockin' on Heaven's Doggie Door" or "The Trouble with Truffles".
