Odysseas, lives in Athens, far from his family. The complicated relationship with his father, Lefteris, has led them to estrangement. However, when an unpleasant event forces Odysseasto return to Serres, everything begins to change. Thus, two strangers in the same house, in the same city, father and son, start from scratch to get to know each other. Having Chrysa by his side and Stamatina, Nancy and Thomas opposite him, Odysseas will help his father get back on his feet. Through moments of emotion and laughter, Odysseas and Lefteris will truly get to know each other, will love each other from the beginning and will reconcile with their differences, but also with loss. In a provincial town, with images from a Greece we all know, Odysseas and Lefteris discover that the world is more beautiful when we accept ourselves, and those around us, for who they really are.

The series follows the lives and loves of three 30-something professionals in modern day Athens. Elli (Faidra Douka) is a junior executive in a record company, having to deal with a highly demanding bitch-of-a-boss. Following the end of a serious relationship, Elli is worried about never having a chance to marry or have kids. Her search for new partners mostly results in the entry of weirdos in her life. Mitsaki (Mirto Alikaki) is a radio producer with a love-hate-relationship with her own boss. A life-long party girl with a tendency towards short-lived relationships and an aversion to taking any short of responsibility, Mitsaki has to come to grips with the idea of growing up. Billy (Giorgos Pyrpassopoulos) is a reporter with a rather unsteady love-life. He is a homosexual, but tends to be turned-off by the quirks of his various partners and has yet to fully commit to a relationship.
From an early age, Nia is mortified by her old-fashioned Greek family's patriotic, over-the-top ways. But, when she falls in love and marries a non-Greek teacher, Thomas Miller, her family eventually learns to accept him and Nia learns to accept her family's meddlesome ways. The Haritou family's ancestral home was initially inhabited only by the unmarried youngest daughter, Irini. However, in the first episode of the series, her older and widowed sister, Olga, moves into the same house until the construction of the new house she is building is completed.
