


Ein Herz und eine Seele is a German cult sitcom based on the British sitcom Till Death Us Do Part by Johnny Speight. The show premiered on January 15, 1973 and lasted for about twenty episodes, airing its last on November 4, 1974. In 1976, the show had a short-lived revival with another four episodes. Ein Herz und eine Seele was written by Wolfgang Menge. The show was extremely successful during its initial run and it still proves very popular in reruns. Two episodes in particular, Silvesterpunsch and Rosenmontagszug have gained such popularity that they are now shown traditionally on German TV on New Year's Eve and Rosenmontag, respectively.

Bantatay or The Guardian is a drama-comedy-fantasy series from GMA Network featuring Raymart Santiago, Gelli de Belen, Jennica Garcia and Carl Guevarra. The show premiered on September 20, 2010 replacing Langit Sa Piling Mo. The show also airs on GMA Pinoy TV worldwide which premiered two days later, September 22, 2010, from the original airdate. Due to high ratings, Bantatay initially extended its 10-week run by 3 weeks before finally being extended until February 25, 2011. The show was originally to be replaced by Alakdana but Alakdana was moved to the timeslot previously occupied by Ang Yaman ni Lola after Eat Bulaga. Bantatay was inspired by the 1995 American Film Fluke as well as the hit the children's TV series, 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd.

Chan Ka Hei, Cheung Lok Hang, and Lee Jin Hiu later changed the position of the detective agency from a detective agency that purely collects evidence for customers to "Unlimited Generation Slash".

The Good Life is an American sitcom which aired on NBC in early 1994. It starred John Caponera and Drew Carey. Other members of the cast included Eve Gordon, Jake Patellis, Shay Astar, Justin Berfield and Monty Hoffman. The show revolved around Caponera's character and featured both his home life and the lock company where he served as a middle manager. It was set in Chicago. Thirteen episodes were produced and aired before the sitcom's cancellation in May 1994.
